Installation

  1. Open the downloaded Overflow-0.1.0-arm64.dmg file.
  2. Drag Overflow into your Applications folder.
  3. Open Overflow from Applications. Since it's downloaded outside the App Store, macOS may ask you to confirm you want to open it — go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway if prompted.
  4. Overflow appears as a small icon in your menu bar. No Dock icon, no window.

Permission setup

  1. On first launch, Overflow will ask for Accessibility access. Click Open System Settings, then enable Overflow in the list.
  2. It will then ask for Screen Recording access. Enable Overflow the same way.
  3. Quit and reopen Overflow after granting both — macOS doesn't always apply permission changes to an already-running app.
